Staples, BVSc
David
qualified from Massey University, New Zealand in 1987.
He began his career working in a rural large animal practice in New
Zealand. For the past 12 years he has worked in small animal
practice, and came to Penstone Veterinary Group in 1996. His
particular interest is in orthopaedic surgery. David is also the
Official Veterinarian for the practice and issues export health
certificates and pet passports.

Kim
Staples, BVSc
Kim
qualified from Massey University, New Zealand in 1987.
She began working in a small animal practice in Essex then progressed to
running her own single-handed practice in Cambridgeshire for three years before
coming to Penstone Veterinary Group in 1997. Kim is responsible
for assessment of our student veterinary nurses, having gained her D32/33
Assessors qualification in 2001. At home are two pets - Harry the
cat and Max the dog (see them at the top and bottom of the page!).

Barbara
Kingston, BVSc
Barbara hails from Australia and is a
graduate of Queensland University. Barbara has been
working at Penstone Veterinary Group since 2000. During
this time she has travelled the world and has enjoyed trips to South
America and Africa. She will soon be taking another long break to
explore the bits of the world she has missed!

Anna joined the practice in 2004 and comes to us from
Finland. |

Janelle
Dunkley MRCVS
Janelle is the latest member of our veterinary team to join
Penstone Veterinary Group. Janelle is new to the UK and began
working with us in 2004.

Janine
Norris, Student Veterinary Nurse
Janine has been a veterinary nurse with the practice for
nearly four years. Last year she passed her first year
Veterinary Nursing exams and this year has moved on to the second year
course on a day release at college. Janine also holds weigh-in
clinics and gives advice to owners with overweight pets.

Caroline
Martin, Student Veterinary Nurse
Caroline joined Penstone Veterinary Group in 2003.
She has an interest in horses and previous to working at Penstone she was
working at a local horse stud. This year Caroline has nearly
finished her first years study for the Veterinary Nursing qualification.
She will begin her second year training later on this year. |

Eleanor Poff, Student Veterinary Nurse
Eleanor is the most recent addition to our nursing team.
This year Eleanor is studying for
the second year Veterinary Nursing qualification prior by block release at
college. |

Addio, Office Administrator
Eleanor joined us in 1998. She spends most of her time
behind the scenes and is responsible for various tasks including credit
control, booster reminders, paying invoices, PAYE and providing the rest of us with
fruit cake from time to time. |

Wendy
Pohl, ReceptionistWendy is a
receptionist at the Taplow branch and has been with us for eight
years. She leads a very busy life which includes being a Brownie
pack leader and a dinner lady at the local school. At home she has her Golden Retriever Simba
to keep her busy as well. |

Sue
Smith, Receptionist
Sue
joined our team in 1999. She is mostly to be found at the Farnham Royal and Slough branches.
One of her many responsibilities in processing of the many pet insurance
claim forms we receive every day. She also ensures we all turn up to work at the right place at the right
time as she is responsible for staff duty rotas and holiday cover. |

Michelle Cooper, Receptionist
Michelle is
a receptionist at the Taplow branch. She has a particular fondness
for guinea pigs and has kept quite a few over the years. |

Hayley Deblois, Receptionist
Hayley began work with us in
2002. She has a keen interest in rabbits and currently
has many furry friends at home which keep her very busy. |

Annisa
Chand, Saturday Assistant
Annisa is our hard working assistant who
helps out on a Saturday morning. She is currently in her first
year of veterinary studies at The Royal Veterinary College at Potters
Bar. At the moment she is gaining valuable experience of
all aspects of the profession and is much-valued on a busy Saturday
morning! |

finally we mustn't forget Max the dog and Harry the cat.
You may see Harry if you visit Farnham
Royal surgery - he is the guardian of the reception desk! Max can
sometimes be seen greeting the canine visitors to London Road
(especially the ladies!).
