Pet Travel Scheme

 

The Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) allows pet dogs and cats from certain countries to enter or re-enter the UK without going into quarantine as long as they meet certain rules.  These web pages are a summary of the scheme and are updated regularly; they were last updated on Tuesday, 30 November 2004 .  As the PETS scheme is being modified regularly, (for example new routes of travel begin while others are withdrawn), we advise you to contact DEFRA (details below) to obtain the latest information.
