Pet Travel Scheme
The Pet Travel
Scheme (PETS) allows pet dogs and cats from certain
countries to enter or
re-enter the UK without going into quarantine as long as they meet certain rules.
These web pages are a summary of the scheme and are updated regularly; they were last
updated on
Tuesday, 30 November 2004
. As the PETS scheme is being modified regularly, (for example new routes
of travel begin while others are withdrawn), we advise you to contact DEFRA
(details below) to obtain the latest information.
